Night has fallen on this land
Bringing isolation
I can hear the colours dripping down
There’s an apprehensive air
And a sense of fear
I am balanced on reality
Fear is falling, lands reforming
Senses leading me astray
Flying through a world of reverence
You can show me
Beauty in a foreign scene tonight
And the walls are falling all around
Storyboards of grand illusions (revelations)
Captivate, persuade and change me (take this)
New idea simulated (chemistry is)
Obsolete and won’t restrain me
Light is breaking, vision shaking
Lost within a rhapsody
Flying through a world of reverence
You can show me
Beauty in a foreign scene tonight
And the walls are falling all around
Flying through a world of reverence
You can show me
Beauty in a foreign scene tonight
Breathlessly escape a lifetime
In this dreamscape
Take a form of ever-changing light inside
And let your mind run free
BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... When you like your prog to be more beautiful and/or accessible than prog-proggy, than this is for you! Melodic as hell and yes, Peter Falconer is quite a singer! That wouldn't go half the way without the solid songs of Pat Sanders. A great combination of skills ;-) Carsten Pieper
